Tradeoff: Adds 1 button click (Continue). Slower for confident users. Better for clients who don't know their criteria.
Buildability: PrimeVue Stepper component fits cleanly. Matches the onboarding wizard pattern in marketing/apply.
Adjustments switch the preset tier above to "Custom".
Three tier cards: Strict / Standard / Permissive. Each card shows the full criteria set + the insurer-impact callout. One click sets all 5 values.
"Adjust individual criteria" expander tweaks any single value — the preset card flips to "Custom".
Tradeoff: Frames hiring as a tier choice, which is faster but slightly opinionated. The insurer-tier framing is the strongest selling point — competitors don't anchor hiring criteria to actual underwriting.
Buildability: Three Card components + an expandable section. Reuses underwriter rating-tier data already extracted internally. Phase 3 of the original plan (carrier-aware defaults) is built into this variant from day one.
